hello! i’m here from your other blog, thank you for letting me know about this one! ♥️
i know the jacket i’m looking for is the brand marcus alexander because the screen used jacket sold a while back (unfortunately not to me). this episode aired in 2002 and the show shot in vancouver if that’s helpful at all (show is dark angel, episode name is freak nation, character is max guevara).
thank you so much!
Okay, awesome! With the information from the auction you arguably have the hardest part already done! Now you just have to use that information to find the piece your looking for!
For your next course of action, I’d recommend looking on resale sites like Ebay, Mercari, Poshmark, etc. and search using keywords like “marcus alexander womens leather jacket” or “vintage marcus alexander black biker jacket.” Look through the various listings and see if any of the jackets match up with the one from Dark Angel, if you aren’t sure if it’s an exact one you sould use the auction photos for reference as they show off the details of the jacket really well. If you can’t find the jacket right away I’d recommend saving the searches/bookmarking them and turning on notifications so that the site lets you know if any listings matching those descriptions pop up!
Since you have such great photos of the actual jacket with the auction listing, you can also use that in your advantage as well! I’d recommend getting the Google app so that you can use the Google Lens function to search the auction photos to see if any visual matches pop up across the internet!
Once you download the Google app you’ll have to give it access to your photos, I use the “limited access” option and only select the clothing specific photos I want to search as I find that helps me keep organized. From there click on the camera icon (pictured left) and then select the image icon (pictured center), both of which I’ve circled in red on my reference photos. Then go through your photos and select the photo of the jacket or any other piece you want to find. Then I’d recommend adding relevant keywords like “marcus alexander” to the search before you start looking through the visual matches to help refine the results. Don’t just trust anything Google Lens comes up with as the exact piece though, you’ll have to look closely at the results to confirm if they do in fact match or not.
When trying to ID a piece as an exact match, I tend to look for the more recognizable features of the piece in the listings I look at. For example, with this jacket I’d probably look for the lines around the elbow, the bell sleeves, and the high collar. If the key features don’t line up it’s not an exact match and I know to keep looking! It can be a waiting game when you’re trying to find the exact pieces to pop up online (especially vintage ones) but when they do it’s totally worth it!
Hopefully this is helpful but if you have any other questions about how to find the jacket, my process, or anything else please let me know!

For those familiar with my other blog, about a month ago I talked about some posters seen in Yellowjackets and funnily enough I recognized this poster in a Shopyourtv Instagram story as its from the same artist:
This is the “Cutted woman's legs, lips, hand and donuts stock photo” from Katya_Havok on Istock.

I've recently been obsessed with Twin Peaks so if you could do any post about It that would be amazing ☺️
Sure, I’ve only seen an episode or two of the show so I don’t know the full context but here are some behind the scenes photos of some of the sets!
