In memory of going to the library tehehe, What's your go to book to recommend? One you think anybody would like! Or what's a book you loved but nobody agrees?

i have many thoughts about this, but i’m rereading eragon (book one) and enjoying it just as much as i did at age ten. maybe this is the nostalgia but it’s so fantastical! one of the best dragon adventures & suitable for most ages.

in the same vein, i LOVE paolini’s adult sci-fi alien epic to sleep in a sea of stars. it is a newer book, but i haven’t found anyone else that really got into it. it does contain elements of body horror on the level of the alien movie franchise, though, so i always recommend it with a warning to those who aren’t into that.
