Tom inhaled sharply. “Harry…”

“Maybe you should blow off a little steam…” He waggled his foot in Tom’s direction.

“Harry,” Tom repeated. “You are aware I need to get actual work done in this office.”

Harry scoffed, hand dragging along his thigh. “And where’s the fun in that?”

“Please, will you just—”

“Oooh, I think I like it when you beg…” He spread his legs, hand dragging seductively to the apex of his thighs. “Now, be a good boy and get over here.”

Tom watched as Harry’s hand traced the edge of his panties. “...Fine.”

It was a little exaltation caused Neville to look up from his sketching. His blue eyes met bright green ones as he took in Harry Potter. It had been years since he had seen the man up close. He was still the same, small wiry-framed man, only now he was greying at the temples. He was dressed casually in light flannel, worn jeans and trainers. A little flush decorated his cheeks. Neville usually had a good amount of time in the morning to sketch the particular flora that grew naturally near the greenhouses. Especially now, given that the term was over. Neville had been looking forward to the early quiet hours now that the students had all gone home. What he hadn’t expected was for the newly minted Defense Against the Dark Arts professor to be out and about this early in the morning. 

“I didn’t mean to—”

“You didn’t.” He smiled.

daylight - chapter one

My first #tomarry fic is live... I’m not going to lie, I am wholeheartedly nervous to post this. I am not quite confident in my abilities to write Tom/Harry but you know, I had a “let’s fucking go, I guess” moment of clarity and now here we are. Please check the tags on this one. This is not going to be a lighthearted fluffy romp like the other fics I have written. I'm stretching myself and trying new things as a writer. Inspired by In the Shadows

Harry awoke on an oversized four poster. The cloying scent of rosewood and apple blossoms draped over his body like the heavy duvet, enveloping him in a gentle embrace. A sluggishness hung around him, stuck to his limbs like they were moving through molasses. Glasses gone, the world only coming to him in a soft focus. He groaned as he forced his body to sit up. Everything was painful and soothing at the same time. He had been an idiot. An absolute fool. An imbecile for thinking that he could escape Tom’s clutches. For as long, he had worked to hide himself, Tom had worked just as hard to find him. His parents, Sirius, Hermione and the Weasleys had all done their very best in trying to keep him concealed. Keep him away from being a part of Tom’s machinations. All their efforts had been for naught. “Are you awake, lamb?” Tom pushes sweat soaked bangs from his face. “I… go… away…” Harry rasps. Tom chuckles, settling next to Harry. “Oh no, little one, I’m not going anywhere. Not now that I’ve found you.” “No…” The smaller wizard tries to push himself away. He is weak. Pliable. “I w-won’t… won’t…” “You won’t what?” Tom caught Harry’s arm, tugging the smaller wizard into his arms. “What won’t you be doing?” Harry tries once more to push himself away. He is weak, so weak, and Tom was so appealing. So warm, so strong. His, his brain supplies. He shakes his head. What on earth is he thinking? “No… no…” “Hush.” Tom breathes, running his nose along his neck, scenting him. “You can feel it, can’t you, little one? The pull of the bond. Don’t you see we were meant for each other? How perfect we will be for one another? You were meant to be mine.”

“Why did you agree to stay?” “It seemed like the polite thing to do.” Harry shrugs. “You aren’t trying to avoid your parents, are you?” Draco pursed his lips. “No.” “Really?” Harry crossed his arms. “Because the extra-strong privacy charms say otherwise.” “It’s to be expected.” He crossed the room to the wardrobe. He strips out of his outer robe, hanging it up. “We are young, dumb and in love. You heard my mother, she sent us up to decompress in private.” “Are you saying your mother sent us up here so that…” He furrowed his brow. “…we could fuck?” Draco sighed, pulling the tie at his neck. “If you’re going to be crass about it.” “Are you serious?” Harry asked, Draco continues his undressing. “You are serious.” He turns, pinning Harry with those starry-grey eyes. “What else could we possibly be doing?” “I don’t know… talking?” “Ah, yes, talking.”

Summary: The one where James and Sirius have been living together for years. They may be an Omega and Alpha, but James has formulated a system. A system that works. Until it doesn’t.

“I have a system.” James said haughtily. “I have to keep everything updated in order for the system to continue working.”  He set down the bag of takeaway he was holding on the opposite counter. “Sometimes I worry you let the system take up too much space in your brain.”  “Some of us,” James said, sharper than he intended. “Work on deadlines and would completely be out of a job if they didn’t stay on top of their systems.” “I suppose...” Sirius countered. “But would they really suffer without the job?”  James narrowed his gaze. “No, but they would like not to have to rely on familial money for the rest of their life.”
