ant had come to learn quickly over the years that first years came with a certain entertainment factor. he supposed part of it was an age thing, another the new environment. whatever that truth was, he'd been sat in the middle of the common room, tucked away with a flask as his entertainment played on for the night. when the couch cushion shifted at his side, ant, only half-looked away from the scene in front of him to eye astoria as she joined him. October This years marks 5 years since The London Astoria (aka Astoria 2) was demolished. Now for those who dont know The astoria was known to be one of the main homes of Punk Rock In London for a long period of time. It also saw performances from such bands as The Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead , Twisted sister, Feeder, Deep Purple and many more (As well as being the Host for G-A-Y). It was a real sad Moment when they announced its demolition of a building with such history.
But its not all bad news guys, As of 2017 when Crossrail ways are no longer using the area a new venue is Set to be built in the Location of the Old Astoria.
Biohazard supported by Raging Speedhorn and Nucleus

This tour was in support of Biohazard's 1999 'New World Disorder' album. Raging Speedhorn had released their first album earlier in 2000. I assume the bands got on during the tour, as Billy Graziadei and Danny Schuler from Biohazard produced singles for both of the support bands ('F.T.W. by Nucleus in 2000, and 'The Gush' for Raging Speedhorn in 2001). Additionally, Carmine Vincent from Nucleus replaced Leo Curley as Biohazard's guitarist in 2001.
The main thing that I remember from this gig was that Bllly from Biohazard had bought a multi-pack of Wotsits and handed them out to people in the pit. Nice of him, if a little random.
