duri smiled when he walked into his dorm. home sweet home.
“this is where i live with the other trainees! they’re all out eating lunch right now, though.” duri held the door open for the other to enter. he could not stop smiling. he was proud of himself, proud that he had a place that was all his, except for the nine other men.
based on the conditions of the house, though, this was no place for a group of boys to live. as soon as you stepped inside you were met with the feet of a bunk bed. it stretched until it hit the next bunk bed, of which was perpendicular to the first. they met in the back right corner of the room. at the foot of the second bunk bed was yet another set of beds. these beds had the foot in the back right corner of the room, perpendicular to the second bunk bed. other than the beds, and many pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals, there was practically nothing in the room. the only thing not nailed to the floor was a mini fridge, and atop, a microwave, both shoved into the corner near an obvious block of the room walled off. there was a door, facing the head of the most right bunk bed, which led to a bathroom. duri smiled at it all, but then, remembered that he was supposed to be showing someone his home.
daemi swallowed. his smile faded. he did not even notice the slight smell that lingered in his home until now. he failed to notice the flickering light near the back of the room, that never turned on or off, and how dim the window by the most back bunk bed shone.
he knew he was a trainee, so he should not have so many friends over like he did, but, he was too nice to say no. would this expose his company to his new friend? would this cost him a debut? it was a fine place for six boys, right?
“uuuuum… you know what, uh, this place is dirty,” he nervously laughed, “a-and the lights… they don’t actually work here, very well. and, the paint, it’s a little, uh, why don’t we just… uh… hang out… outside…”
