Astro Child

When the Sun and the Moon had a child, the world rejoiced.

The child looked up at the older sibling stars and knew it was a part of a beautiful family.

Unfortunately the Sun and Moon were not meant to be together for long.

The stars were always just out of reach from the child

The child didn't know whether to live in night or day.

The child yearned for the purple light of dusk where her parents could be seen together at last. But it never lasted long.

A lot of us are born of of Suns and Moons. Whether we live in the shadows or rise to become stars is what we make of it.
