finished reading Soul Hunter & i can’t wait for ya'lls asks/requests to reopen. i am craving some talos x reader content like crazy. he’s such a cool and complex character, total badass. i also like how he interacts with his serfs. particularly Septimus and Octavia. though imperfect, it’s different from what i’m used to. esp when Talos spoke open with Octavia about his past. he lets her be grumpy toward him, which really shocked me.

reading these books has also reawakened my Sevatar hyperfixation. ahhhh !!!! i need more of him and talos ;w;

any Variel fans out there …? HI! i think he’s neat & would love to hear your thoughts on him/fics you might have.

i gotta ask, did anyone else get attached to Septimus & Octavia when reading these books? cause i totally am. Septimus is easy to like, i adore his banter and relationship with Octavia. i wanna smooch them both! or trauma bond together, that would be fine too. gosh, i’m worried for them ;w;

book got a laugh out of me when Talos walked in on them smexing. dude was legit just like : stop that. what an ass, lol. i was waiting for him to pull out a spray bottle.

OH!! & i am still reading Path of the Renegade. reading multiple books at a time is probably a bad idea since i’m so busy, but fuck it we ball. both books are giving me brainrot and an inkling to explore them more indepth. or dig around for fancontent until i’m satisfied. ( which never happens cause i always want more * sobbbb )

is it wrong that my comfort reading involves Night Lords & Drukhari? probably. maybe. idk, don’t answer that. too much to unpack right now.

no one told me the Night Lords Trilogy was narrated by Andrew Wincott !!!! i'm sorry to say i've dropped the siege so i can listen to Soul Hunter.

i told myself months ago i would finish the siege first, but ... but ... night lords AND wincott?? sorry, i caved. ♡ his voice is yummy.

i'll come back to The First Wall soon.

reading . . .

the lost and the damned. i know it's been a while since i last posted. i started reading again to get me back in the warhammer mood. figured i pushed the siege off for long enough, and boy was i excited for this one. i finished solar war, but i don't have too much to say about it right now.

speaking of pushing things off. Raldoron, you cheeky man.

spoilers below the cut for the lost and the damned & virtues of the sons.

A red boot on his wounded leg pinned him in place. Skraivok cried out in pain. Raldoron leaned forwards to address him.

‘You are and always were an evil Legion. You took the Emperor’s mission and twisted it. Selfish. Monstrous. Tormentors of the weak,’ snarled Raldoron. ‘If Horus had not turned, I would have gladly led the hunt for your kind myself. I thank you from my heart that you came to my sword and saved me the trouble of looking.’ He shifted the weight of his foot, bringing another cry from Skraivok.

i got literal chills at this part. goodness me !! get him pookie! show that night lord who's boss.

‘Wait!’ the Painted Count said. ‘I give you my surrender. You beat me. I am your prisoner!’

‘There can be no prisoners in this war,’ said Raldoron. ‘How much mercy have you shown to all those that you harmed? I have as much mercy for you as you had for them. Now get off my wall.’ He shoved hard with his foot, sending Skraivok skidding towards the drop.

he legit just said : now get off my wall. i can't handle him. i love these moments with the blood angels. like when Azkaellon dueled & tackled Lucius in Virtues of the Sons. i hope i get to see more of these cheeky moments. reminds me of Sanguinius and his mischievous streak.

rip gendor skraivok, you got dunked on.

okay, but i also can't wait to see him reemerge as a daemon. the painted count is a hilariously fun night lord to follow. i need more of him, lmao.

i haven’t had a lot of time to hobby this year, B U T i have been back to chewing on clowns recently. particularly of the harlequin variety.

just listened to ❛ A Deadly Wit ❜ today && !!!!!! i got my hands on a hard copy of ❛ The Masque of Vyle ❜ . which left me feeling shookith, cause it’s in amazing condition & didn’t cost me any body parts to obtain. i'll post my thoughts on it soon ♡
