Brian and Peter at Astrofest - 2016
That footage I saw from Astrofest is sickening especially the one of Travis continuing to perform while watching a lifeless body be carried out. That festival is done for and it’s gonna change the way festivals go forever.
RIP to the people who lost their lives & I truly hope everyone else makes full mental & physical recoveries.

Prayers to the families who lost loved ones at AstroFest. Crowd safety is no joke. Hope that the people involved in the festival are held accountable for their negligent planning which resulted in people losing their lives. Kids need to understand that mindlessly “raging” while having no concern for the health and safety of others, does not make them cool.
In reference to Travis Scott. Respectfully:
Rest in peace to everyone that passed at the Astroworld tour. But I'm gonna come clean, Travis isn't fully at fault here.
I watched the actual footage of his entire performance. From the stage, it looked like the fans were engaged and thrilled to be there. I doubt he saw anyone dying and I feel like OF COURSE he would have stopped the show if he saw or heard that shit.
I just came from Rolling Loud a few weeks ago, and during his set he stopped a fight and pulled a kid who was getting jumped onto the stage with him.
Can we be real though? THE FANS WERE THE PROBLEM! The fans who bum-rushed through the security gates. The drove of kids who didn't have tickets.
Yo lmao, there were gates and tickets that were disregarded. There were prompts that were taken to ensure safety, or at least some order, but when you have a wave of people rushing in and doing whatever the fuck they want, what can you really do to stop them?
Travis fans are nuts. I saw him live two times in my life and they were really insane. The only difference is that when I saw him live, and the crowd got crazy, we made way for people to leave. At least the people around me, we were civilized. When someone fell, we picked them up. When someone was panicking and freaking out, we made a way for them to leave. If people were in the front, we called security to pull them out if they wanted to leave. BRO, IN NO WAY IS SOMEONE GONNA FALL AROUND ME AND I'M JUST GONNA LEAVE THEM THERE AND KEEP ON JUMPING AROUND, STAMPEDING OVER THEM.
Travis didn't kill anyone. The suffocation of fans did. The over-crowding did. Travis time and time again has footage of him helping people. Bro, in that same show he helped bring attention to someone that was passing out. Yes, he encourages rage culture and moshing and shit, but this show was far from his fault. At least not ALL his fault.
I really believe he didn't see everything that was going on, Travis has done hundreds of shows. People pass out all the time, I'm sure he didn't think this was anything different. Watch the end of that show, the last 10 minutes, and the crowd largely is holding up phones, recording the stage, chanting and singing along with lyrics. I know he didn't see people dying.
I don't wanna make this a race thing also, but seriously, I find it funny that a lot of his white fans are turning against him now. A lot of white kids rushing in, tearing gates down and rushing through security are largely the reason why 8 people died. Fact. And now the same group of people want to slander him and drag him down. It's funny. I'm sorry if anyone is offended by this but that's how I really feel.
Overall, the show was a disaster. These deaths were easily preventable. But I don't see how FANS RUSHING THROUGH WITHOUT TICKETS AND OVERCROWDING THE SPACE RESULTING TO PEOPLE SUFFOCATING, PASSING OUT AND DYING is the fault of the artist on stage who doesn't see all of that shit going down.
If you still support Travis Scott. Please kindly remove yourself from my life.
anyways fuck travis scott fucking asshole that shit is terrifying never listening to one of his songs for the rest of my fucking life
