——-♜ Killua was typically able to hold his tongue, keep back any emotion that was wanting to spill out and stand his ground with a cold gaze. But, as things tend to go, that wasn’t always the case. It started with a small argument. Leorio telling Killua he needed to stop doing dumb things ( triggered by the fact the boy once again pulled a prank that would’ve killed anyone else had it not been for the Zoldyck upbringing ). And well, the words had found their way out of Killua’s mouth before he could even think of them.
Leorio seemed even more upset after the fact, enraged, even. “Well it’s not that I believe you want something bad to happen to me,” Killua wasn’t even sure where to go with this he hadn’t ever been good at expressing his feelings after all, “But I’m not Kurapika or Gon, and I can take good care of myself, by myself. I don’t need anyone to care, so why would you waste the effort...?” The question is more to himself than Leorio, really. “And, like you said, I’m immuned. It won’t do anything to me so it’s not dangerous.”
Larger hands on his shoulder nearly wants to make Killua back away. But he stays. And the confession has his gaze turning down to his feet. It hurt Leorio? Eyebrows knit together, the child trying to formulate a response appropriate to Leorio’s feelings. “I’m sorry,” Killua decides on ( a rather big response for him as well, those words hardly ever leaving his mouth ), “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just don’t understand.”
