On top of all of this chamomile can help calm your mental state along with migraines. This tea will help put you to sleep at night after a frustrating day. Chamomile can be prepared for this is many different ways. If you are using this remedy for the calming mental element, using it as a vapor maybe more effective. To help with sore muscles, soaking in a chamomile bath with provide the relief you are looking for. However, if you are looking for digestion relief a tea is the way to go.
Fighting the cravings
I know it’s hard, I can't even imagine it myself. But eating less refined carbohydrates, instead Stick to whole grains like oats, millet, brown rice, quinoa, ect. Eat only 3 servings of grains at most a day. Processed sugar is one of those lovely delicious this that are awful for you on your period. Choose very limited amounts of honey or agave. Water
I know this one is well known however, this can help control bleeding. During your time of the month and before, water is extremely important. All that bloating you experience is water. You might think you might want to drink less than, however, you only lose about 3 tbs of blood during your period and the rest is water. Your body is rapidly losing water so you’re going to want to be refueling that for a healthy flow.
