Hi! I recently got into MGS/Otasune, after preorders for the Otasune zine closed, and I was wondering if there's any way I can still order the zine? Thank you! :)

Absolutely! Now that the pre-orders are being sent out, the “regular” orders (for physical and digital copies) will being going up in the shop soon, probably in the next day or two. I just wanted to make sure that everyone who pre-ordered got their items shipped out first. Keep an eye here/on the shop because I’ll definitely be announcing when they go up.

The Doors: Two places you’d like to visit

Hmmm… I’m not actually that huge of a travel person, but I do have a few places! I really want to go to Scotland one day, partially because scotch, and partially because I really really want a genuine claymore forged for my body type.  I’d also like to go to Sweden cause it seems neat? Idk, it just seems fun.

Shit ok uhh

1. My girlfriend, Ren <3 tinyarmhugs

2. Bass guitar.  Playing it, listening to it, talking about it, you fuckin name it I love that shit.

3. Music of most genres. Nothing really has the ability to calm me down, psyche me up, motivate me, or fascinate me the same way music does.

4. My friends.  This seems like kind of an obvious answer, but most of them live pretty far away from me right now, and getting to see/talk to them is something I don’t get to do very often.

5. Food!  I really enjoy eating tasty things.

6. Going to sleep when my room is really cold, and my bed feels super soft and nice, and I don’t have to get up for anything the next day. MMMmmmmmm

7. Having a stable fucking internet connection. (Mine just died again while writing this)

8. Physical affection. I really enjoy hugs n shit, even for platonic relationships. I just like expressing to people that I like them through touch.

Metallica: Do you have any special talents?

Yeah! At least, I think it’s special. I’m a pretty damn good bassist, and I really enjoy playing my bass and making music. I can also do that one hand clap thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8Q1nLwYK6E (not me).

I’m a leader if I think I’d make the best leader in a situation. Basically I’m fine to follow until I think the leader doesn’t do a good enough job and then I take over.

The Who: 2 of your favorite food and 2 of the foods you hate

I fuckin love ravioli. Shit. That stuff is the entire bee.  I also love a good steak.  I recently made this amazing steak in mushroom cream sauce with my dad and it was amazing. 

I absolutely loathe mayonnaise. That shit is just straight up disgusting.  Also, sour cream, not a fan.

 The Tragically Hip: 6 things you want to accomplish

1. I want to go back to school at a four year university and get my degree. I had a not so great time last time I tried, and had to leave in a pretty shameful manner due to a bunch of latent trauma and academic issues.  I hope to be able to return this coming fall, but am not sure yet.

2. I want to be in a pretty damn good band and play a bunch of shows. I’m currently playing in band with two amazing musicians, and am really excited for where this could go, like, on a local scale.  It’d be so rad.

3. On a smaller, sooner scale, get a car. I really want to have a way to get up to Oregon easily to chill with my brudes.

4. Butt stuff

5. Fuckin finally master the Tommy the Cat bass lick.

6. Have a stable income.

My boyfriend and I were really high and going to the store to get candy and on the way out I was mesmerized by the wall of TVs showing Far Cry 4 gameplay... Except for it wasn't. It was just some documentary on the Himalayas and I was really high.
