i dont know why, but i have like, the biggest hc that asuka is kumiko's first kiss

Kumiko confessing to Asuka that she might be attracted to girls (one girl in specific but she won’t ever say that out loud for the life of her, but that’s okay because Asuka knows she’s been head over heels over Kousaka forever), and Asuka, always such a great senpai, promises not to tell and to be there for her always

and then the band has a New Year’s party and they all decide to go. There’s sake and Kumiko might be a little tipsy, and she keeps glued to Asuka because it just feels good to huddle against someone she loves so dearly without being awkward (after she realized she loves Reina in a Hella Gay Way, it just got so much harder to be around her without stuttering a little)

Asuka indulges her because Oumae-chan is so cute when she’s flustered. Kumiko excuses herself to the bathroom and Asuka follows, ever so responsible for her kouhai. She finds Kumiko bent over the sink and touches her shoulder in worry, but Kumiko is just drunk and wallowing in sentimentality “I’ve been thinking about asking Reina for a New Year’s kiss but there’s no way it’s going to happen why is life so hard why is she so oblivious why can’t i be brave”

Asuka breathes out a little laugh and rubs her back and says that she’s a great girl and that Kousaka will realize that soon, and if she doesn’t, then it’s her loss. Kumiko just lies there against her shoulder and nods, not really confident, and mutters after a while “i still want my new year’s kiss, though....”

that’s when Asuka tilts her head and places one square on her lips. “there. You’ve been blessed by the goddess of love and your year will be full of romance!”

Kumiko just looks at her with her mouth open, before leaning forward to capture her senpai’s lips again.
