I’ve just had the unsettling realization that the cute glasses that I let the girls at work talk me into--mostly because they were free since I work for an optometrist--actually make things clearer. Since I’ve never had glasses, I have never thought I needed them, but here I am, peering at the label of plant fertilizer and marvelling over how the letters have gone from being in soft focus to sharp focus... 

Shit. I actually need glasses.
