Misusing the term Purity Culture (which is a specific term about the damaging and traumatic effects of religious trauma has, especially on women in terms of sexual health and self worth), claiming that the people against ISFF and Patricia Taxxon are the ones equating trans women with pedophiles (as though ISFF is not the one who boldly made that claim and we're all fighting back against that shit?) and incest kinks, and claims, just like ISFF, that "if its just written text, it can't harm anyone as long as its fiction!!" As though that same fiction is not directly and actively used to groom children.

I was the first person (to my knowledge) to ask ATATU in the comments of the rent lowering gunshots post to clarify their stance on incest kinks being morally neuteral, which began all this shit. You can see my evidence posts here and here under the original reply chain, which many people have been saying they are unable to access or see for whatever reason.

A lot of people on this website do not want to do the work of unpacking trauma based kinks, and think that pushing back on the stance of all kinks and sexual fantasies are always morally neuteral with no nuance, under the guise of sex positivity, is equivalent to harassment and hatespeech. A lot of the same people who opposed ISFF think like this based on their responses to this situation. It's scary because this mindset created the conditions that made ISFF feel safe saying the shit that she did, and its why we keep having The Big Tumblr Discourse every couple of years that involves someone trying to normalizes some paraphilia. The way that a lot of yall are defending atatu without even looking at my evidence or the original post are complicit in creating this environment.

Piping hot take, the people that were so vocally against ISFF that are now trying to defend atatu even after seeing my evidence posts were probably in ISFF discourse because they saw it as a game and saw that the safe bet was to be against her because that was the general consensus of most of the website. But when it comes to confronting someone that isn't The Big Discourse Fish they suddenly apply "well this is just my general thoughts on x," or "I haven't been keeping up with x" or they regurgitate the bullshit of transmisogyny and smear campaigns that other users with larger followings start spewing.

And then there are those that haven't seen my posts that are supporting out of ignorance, and a few have come forward and changed their minds after seeing the evidence. To these people, I see you and I was almost like you when it came to ISFF. When ISFF originally got banned in Dec, i almost fell for the bullshit that she was unfairly terminated for being a kinky transfem, but then I saw the evidence people were posting and it changed my mind instantly. If you're speaking on this without seeing the original evidence, please go look at my post and sit with it for a while. And do look at the original rent lowering gunshots post as well, just so you can see what ATATU said originally.

If you are getting anonymous messages trying to shame you into shutting up about critiziing radqueers and incest and blackface, that's your cue to turn off anon completely, and make people actually message you face-to-face if they want to actually have something concrete and substantial to say instead of vaguely saying they're disappointed in you for talking about the harm of fetishizing incest and blackface.

turning off anon means people who still want to speak to you privately can, but it means people are not allowed to hide behind pretending they're faceless masses when in reality it's one single person usually spamming an inbox.

The number of times I've had my inbox filled with 15 different messages claiming to be from 10 different people all supporting pedophilia in fiction "because its just fiction!!" Only to block exactly one anonymous and suddenly all of the other messages vanish and I don't receive anymore in the future?

Yeah, that's exactly why these people use anon -- They can pretend to be as many people as they want, with as many "nuanced" opinions as they want, and you will literally never realize that until you block one, and suddenly they all vanish.

If anons are trying to shame you into shutting up about not supporting incest, screenshot and block that Anon instead of replying to it directly, and then wait and see how many other anans you get, if you get any at all.

The only time blocking an anon (who was being extremely racist and doing literal slavery apologism) did not solve an issue for me, is when it was someone who specifically had a few dozen burner accounts to continue sending and all those messages, but wouldn't you know, turning anon off, which meant they couldn't message me unless they wanted to expose their various blogs, shut them up forever.

rjalker vague posting abt me like a lot of the ppl i worked with werent also victims of CSA 😭😭 they just actually knew when to disengage, manage their emotions and how to actually handle evidence instead of leaping to insane conclusions about not necessarily ATATU, but morbs, dymphna, ridafi and all the others because they would not put up with your emotional immaturity. The only company i regret keeping was YOU. yalls notifications and messages were what made me feel physically ill because i knew i woild have to deescalate an argument in a reblog chain. I was trying to both-sides it because yall were the ones with the most evidence, but the others actually knew wtf to do with it, and if that was cut because of yalls dumbassery, this would have went no where.

When i wrote my "baby's first discourse" hiatus post i was not aware of ATATU's rape defense connections. Once again, we convienetly ignore time stamps, context and interpret everything in bad faith. I didnt really know what else to call it at the time. Wtf should i call it now? Drama? that makes it feel more petty and insignificant. The ATATU incident? what do i say??

Being the nucleus of this whole shitshow, this will be my final post on the matter unless something crazy happens. I've had some time to think things over and I'm ready to speak about it.

Many people have been talking about how rjalker, walks-the-ages and nixthekat have been rude or abrasive to those asking for clarification or for evidence. I do believe this is partially my fault for not posting evidence of the reply chain sooner, and I do think a lot of miscommunication could have been avoided if I acted in a timely manner. For that I sincerely apologize.

However, there is a difference between standing up for yourself as an abuse victim via calling out those who are defending abuse apologia, by providing evidence of wrongdoings, and then there is cussing out someone out who is genuinely asking for evidence and clarification in good faith. strawberrycheesecakehare is totally valid in blocking these users based on their conduct and manner of speaking towards them in that reblog chain. They were simply asking for evidence as a good faith actor and were met with pure vitriol with 0 evidence. They were then accused of tone policing for asking to not be cussed out while continuining to ask for evidence. Even though everyone is now on the same page with regards to ATATU in this circle, alliances have been broken due to these responses. Perhaps one day everyone can reconcile, but that doesn't seem likely at this moment.

As abuse victims, it is totally valid to be angry at people defending abuse apologia, and I have always encouraged victims to be blunt and to not coddle abusers feelings. I also understand how a situation like this can trigger strong feelings in abuse victims and how these feelings can propel their activism. However, when your emotions are so inflamed that you cannot differentiate someone asking about something in good faith with someone who is defending abuse, or to even ask for tone indication or clarification, that is when you need to take a step back. Please understand that not everything needs a response right at that moment when you're at the point of cussing someone out. If these folks continue to lash out at those asking in good faith because they are so consumed by their emotions that they are unable to step back and determine what that person's intentions are, I do feel like they will lose allies in the long run. When someone is asking you in good faith for evidence that you have (which ik yall do because there has been so much screenshots posted and shared of the original rent lowering gunshots post), post the evidence, elaborate on certain points if you must, and if the person still wants to be contrarian then you can block or choose to engage at your leisure. Your last response should be calling mfs gullible and cussing at them without providing an iota of evidence.

To the 3 people mentioned: I'm not saying you can't cuss in posts or that you have to pussyfoot around abusers feelings. All I'm saying is is that if you are at a point emotionally where you can't differentiate between a good faith actor asking for evidence and an actual abuse apologist, this is a sign that you need to step back and take care of your mental health. I understand that you're angry and upset, but ultimately if you lash out at those who are trying to get the other side's story and evidence, its not surprising that people are gonna block you.

With all this being said, I will reitierate once more that if you support incest in any form or believe it to be "morally neutral," I will block you. If you're suddenly blocked out of no where, its because i caught your ass liking some "incest as a kink is morally neutral" ass shit.
