The 25 Songs of Christmas! some comments.
Wow, so we have already managed to post 8 days worth of Christmas songs. AND ON TIME!!!!!!! Faithfully! FOR 8 DAYS IN A ROW! Sorry for getting excited but this is actually kind of amazing to me considering that Athrylis and I aren't that good at keeping up with deadlines, consistently, for...any amount of time, really. But we've kept the Christmas songs coming thus far!
From here it gets more difficult though, because we're both traveling in the next few days, and I don't know whether or not we'll be able to record upload anything during the next week. Obviously, I really hope we can. But it will be a lot more difficult.
...which is why it would be nice if we were getting more of a response to these videos! Like, it's kind of surprising how little response we're getting even from our actual fans? And I know, the videos aren't really doing anything that special, but I dunno, they're entertaining, and we're making them! (...particularly editing them takes a lot of time...)
And I thought people (our fans?) would be like oh hey! Ash Prod is doing something! They haven't done anything in a long time! And comment on them or something. But that...really hasn't happened. Basically at all.
We aren't trying to make these go viral or even get hundreds of views or anything, we're just trying to provide SOMETHING fun to the fans who have been faithfully following us for so long (and getting nothing). But I'm not even sure people are seeing the videos.
On Facebook, for example, the most recent video said "4 people reached"
Not that 4 people "liked" it, but 4 people REACHED. As in, the video ended up on the feeds of 4 people.
Facebook of course then offered to let me pay money for more people to see the video, but I kind of think people who are following us should be seeing them anyway. But anyway...that's why...if you see our Christmas videos, and you *KNOW* someone who *LIKES* us, it's very likely that they *HAVEN'T* seen the video, so please go ahead and share the video with them! And I think that will help us keep up steam.
Cause I would really love to post all 25 without missing a day. We have failed terribly in this project for the last two years, but I think we can manage it this time, if we know that people are actually *watching* them!
ps, the next video is a little bit boring (it's a ballad) but the one after that is kind of cute and funny. Still nothing will probably ever compare to Athrylis' "As Long As There's Christmas")
