i so desperately want to know what the experience of watching ATLA as an aang/katara hater is like??? i cannot fathom how you find the show enjoyable while actively disliking one or both of the primary protagonists. like...they’re on screen ALL THE TIME...you’re supposed to want them to succeed... how do you enjoy the show and root for the protagonist(s) while you actively dislike the protagonist(s)??? wouldn’t it be better to just consume other media i...? it doesn’t compute.
