Sokka being able to have this close friendship and bond with Sai is so important to me, not just bc they’re both smart in such a similar way, but also bc it’s been implied that Sokka doesn’t have as close a relationship with Hakoda in this series and doesn’t feel that he’s proud of him.

I’m loving seeing more serious aspects of Sokka’s character being expanded on.
