The temperatures are cooling down and kids are back in school, so it’s time to dust off the list of cool fall events happening around Atlanta! The air turns crisp and the city celebrates boos, beers, bards, and bites. Explore neighborhoods all over Atlanta to see the best they have to offer.
Yellow Daisy Festival - Stone Mountain Park. 9/5-8. $20 vehicle permit. 400+ artists and crafters, live music, eats/drinks and flower show. Always a Fall Favorite!
Atlanta Bourbon Festival - City Winery. Sat 9/7 1-4pm. $60+. Enjoy 50+ bourbon and whiskey options, cocktails, wine & beer, and live music.
Korean BBQ Festival - Brookhaven. Sat 9/7 7-11pm. FREE to attend! Music and delicious traditional Korean dishes from local restaurants including Bulgogi, Jeyookbokeum, Gimbob, and much more.
Music Midtown - Piedmont Park. 9/14-15. $155+. Awesome line-up for this year's event, top names include Panic At The Disco, Billie Eilish, Vampire Weekend and MORE!!!
Taste of Smyrna - Smyrna. Sat 9/14 11am-8pm. FREE! 35+ local restos offering tastes from $1. Kids zone, music, and more in this cool OTP city.
10th Annual Southern Chefs Potluck - The Foundry at Puritan Mills. Sun 9/15 5:30pm. $175+. Amazing fundraiser to support Wholesome Wave GA features whole hog roast and amazing eats/drinks from #ATLchefs, music, auctions and more!
Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade - Inman Park. Sat 9/21 7-10pm. FREE! People come from miles around to light up the night for this amazing community art exhibit. Inspiring and so much fun, don’t miss out on a truly cool experience.
Georgia State Fair - Atlanta Motor Speedway. 9/27-10/6. $5+. Kids under 5 are FREE! Rides, shows, games, food, live music, and more. Fun for the whole family!
Wildwood Revival - Cloverleaf Farm. 9/27-29. $92+. A thoughtfully curated, intimate gathering and festival just outside of Athens. Three days of music and community, listen to live music in the pecan grove and share an authentic meal with friends.
EAV Strut - East Atlanta Village. Sat 9/28 11am-9pm. FREE! 100+ Local artists, cool local music, eats/drinks from food trucks and local restaurants. Great day out and a must-do in the fall.
Atlanta Mimosa Fest - O4W Park. Sat 9/28 1-5pm. $45+. Event features bottomless mimosa flavors, Brunch Punch, wine, beer & cider; Live Music, College Football, & DJ Qtip in Air-Conditioned Tent.
Sandy Springs Festival - Heritage at Sandy Springs. 9/28-29. FREE! Fine art, diverse food, education, a silent auction, Pet Parade, 10K/5K ($25+), and Battle of the Bands. New this year - Wine Festival ($36).
Atlanta Audubon Chalk Festival - Piedmont Park. Sun 9/29 10am-5pm. Artists can still reserve a space until 9/16 for $50. Free to attend, King of Pops will be on site with tasty treats, attendees can vote their favorite chalk works of art.
Atlanta Streets Alive - Midtown. Sun 9/29 2-6pm. FREE! Atlanta Bike Coalition hosts an afternoon of human-powered entertainment! Free, family-friendly event creates a new route in Southwest Atlanta. Parade, interactive experiences, shop local biz and more!
Sunday in the Park - Oakland Cemetery. Sun 9/29 12-6pm. Free event that features live music, costume contest, local vendors, living history, food trucks, tours and more!
Fall Festival - Candler Park. 10/5-6. Great neighborhood 2-day fest boasts live music, an artist market, specialty food trucks and beverage vendors, a kids’ play area, a 5K, outdoor yoga – and a Tour of Homes.
