A smile crossed his face at the request, and Baptiste did as he was asked -- pouring the woman a hefty glass of bourbon before setting it down in front of her. Then he set a glass of water next to that, and motioned to them both.
“You’ll want to finish those at the same time, petit,” he warned, before taking a sip of his own drink.
