Attack on Ice

Word Count: 3,000

Characters: It's a gen fic and there are many. Assume all your favorites are in here.

Rating: I'm not even gracing this with a rating.

Notes: A commission for my flatmate, Eli. I think it's better to read what he asked for as opposed to trying to explain it. This fic is poorly written entirely on purpose and contains a lot of in jokes between people in the apartment, so I apologize for anything that doesn't make sense.

    That damn Hanji, she’s so hot right now.     Well, Levi too. They were both hot, a dynamic (half) little duo on the ice, all crisp lines and spins, perfect throws and stuck landings. Hand-beaded outfits and meticulously crafted choreography.     Or they were hot, until the attack on Rink Rose. The day had been quiet and still, like stagnant sink water that refused to drain so you just stopped trying to make go away. The freshest batch of skaters were proud and prepared, having only just graduated from their last lesson and ready to take on the Russians. (Those damn Russians.)     But then there had been the clanging noise, the shuddering death rattle of a great beast, and the cooling system had died. One kid cried, another threw up on his rental skates. One sipped hot chocolate that was nowhere near cool enough and burned her tongue.
