Visualize your attendee data like never before with the new attendees page

The core element of any event is the people attending. The dozens of hours you spend on things like handling logistics, communicating updates, and responding to inquiries is worth it because you know what you're organizing is going to be amazing. As you build a community for your event, you're going to want to know who's a part of it. Today we're rolling out a powerful, visual way to learn about and connect with your attendees.

Two new ways to view your attendees We believe that when trying to understand who your attendees are, there's really two main elements. The first is the need to quickly see all available information about attendees. The second is a visual way to help connect names and faces. We've redesigned the attendee feature to take both items into account.  

Attendees details  A simple table with all of the data attached to each registration. You can scroll horizontally to see all registration data and you can scroll vertically to go through all attendees.

Attendee wall A beautiful grid of your attendees' profile photos. If an attendee hasn't uploaded a picture, we'll use one of our default colors. Feel free to encourage your attendees to create their profiles and upload a photo to enhance their experience and make your life easier. 

Search any attendee data in real-time Every element of data from registrations can now be searched. This means you can find attendees with exact criteria. Let's say you have a registration question that asks for where an attendee works. Well now you can just search for a specific company and find all relevant attendees. 

Filter your attendees as needed Beyond searching attendee data, you can also filter by ticket types to help you segment even further.

Editing attendees has never been easier All attendees now link to their relevant order in the 'orders' page so you can quickly edit their data. Feel free to also check out our most recent update to the orders page.

New features to get you through the summer heat

We're in the midst of summer and you know what that means, right?  New features to help you put on even more awesome events. We've been watching you plan everything from boat parties and BBQs to civil war reenactments. We have to say, we're both impressed and inspired. We don't have anything too groundbreaking to announce today, except for lots of smaller things you've been asking for (yes, we're listening) :)

Refunds You now have full control over refunding orders. Previously, you had to contact us directly for refunds, but now you have the power. On the "Orders" page you'll now see a new refund button. Orders are refunded in full and the ticket buyer will receive an email saying they have a refund on the way. In the near future you'll be able to refund individual tickets and attendees can request refunds themselves. 

Collect data on all attendees, not just the ticket buyer Need to ask your attendees some additional questions like what's their t-shirt size or desired meal? Well now you can collect this data for each attendee on the order, not just the ticket buyer. You now have the option to either collect data on just the ticket buyer or for each attendee on the order. The "Order Form" page was redesigned to make this super simple. 

We launched ActivityWalls.com Last week we launched a new standalone product called ActivityWalls.com. It lets you create an Activity Wall in about 30 seconds to stream tweets, Twitpics and Instagram pics from your event's hashtag. It's similar to the Eventjoy version, except creating one is even quicker and you don't need an Eventjoy account.

Major speed improvements and infrastructure upgrades We did some long overdue maintainance under the hood of Eventjoy and rolled up our sleeves up to make things even quicker. For starters, everything is now run on faster servers and we optimized tons of code to make things more stable and snappier.
