Noah found herself wandering the halls of the university late at night. She traced her fingers over the paint chipped walls and watched as her feet fell one in front of the other. This was a new environment and so walks were still refreshing. Nothing had been stained with memories and drama yet.
Drew: "The only true wisdom is to know that you know nothing."
Drew: Socrates. Deep shit, man.
Drew: Anyways...did I leave my NuvaRing at your place?
Yes it was the masquerade ball but that wasn’t going to stop him from getting Hyphy. He fixed his mask before requesting an E-40 song, it was a ball but he didn’t give a fuck about dancing slow. Once the song came on he smiled. “Shiiiiit its Uncle Earls Birthday today.” He smiled as he stuck his tongue out, he wasn’t really caring about who was around him
As expected -partially- the ball was a bore. Nothing seemed to be happening. At least nothing fun. And she was in the mood for fun, blame it on the many glasses of champagne she had. A sigh leaving her lips, her head shot in the direction of the person standing beside her, like she just had the most brilliant idea of her entire life. “Let’s play a game! Truth or dare, spin the bottle, just something to spice things up around here! Are you up for this?”
Piper transferred to Atticus a few days ago, just in time to hear about a masquerade ball. She figured it’d be something fun to get to know the people she’d be spending the next year or two with. Her dress was navy blue at the top and ombréd into white. The sleeves were short and it had a close-to-the-neck neck line. Her heels were also navy blue, but she decided to go with a gold mask to tie everything together. There was a big crowd of people, but Piper decided it was best to get liquid courage before she started introducing herself. The tall blonde, stood, leaning on the bar, with a drink in hand, her eyes scanning the room for someone she’d feel would ease her into the atmosphere of Atticus.
Churro wasn’t really one for parties... or going out of his house but he wanted to push himself to start getting used to the idea of being around people and not having nervous breakdowns. Churro was walking around to find some water until he had accidentally bumped into someone, he tucked his hair behind his ear before looking at the person nervously. “I-Im sorry. I didn’t mean it- I was just trying to find the water.”
“I just witnessed somebody projectile vomiting over a bonsai tree. Night ruined,” Percy drably interjected, yawning into a champagne flute as if he was above lace frills and glittered politics. So far the masquerade had been mind numbing in its predictability. Percy wanted a scandal that didn’t leave him itching for something more. “Want to know what I think?”
