Elena let Katherine lead her to her bed as her water broke. Elena wasn’t ready. This wasn’t good. She had two more months. Now the baby was coming premature and she prayed nothing bad happened to it. And Katherine was going to have to deliver this baby alone at this point unless she could get Bonnie over fast.

Of course if something was wrong with the baby Katherine had healing powers as a vampire. But she wasn’t sure exactly what vampire blood could heal or not. And she really was sort of terrified of giving a baby vampire blood. What if it died anyways then it’d come back as a vampire right? no Elena you have to do a blood exchange. Okay I remember that much. As long as Katherine didn’t drink the babies blood you’d be fine on that front. Elena thought.

She couldn’t believe she was thinking all this. Her contractions got worse. More painful. And Elena tried not to scream but it was hard. She held in a scream for about five seconds and then one came out. A little too loud. Then she bit her lip. “Sorry…” she told Katherine. She held onto Katherine as they walked her to her bed and Elena laid down. Another contraction hit. They were at least three minutes apart it seemed. And Elena didn’t scream this time. Instead she cried like crazy. Tears coming down. “It hurts too much, and I don’t think the baby is going to wait for Bonnie.” she told her sister.

Guardian Blood: Part 1

Poison & Wine:

Elena found herself in a predicament. She was pregnant with Matt Honeycutt’s child. This was years after their college years. And most of the gang was twenty four or twenty five by now. It wasn’t intended. But Elena realized why it happened. The guardians  or what most humans would call angels decided they wanted to continue the bloodline. Yet again. It was the same reason why Elena was born. The same reason why Katherine was born. The same reason the guardians allowed Margret who was nineteen now to be born. The angels killed her parents because her mother wouldn’t let them have her. Katherine was a vampire and couldn’t take her birth right after she was turned. Katherine Elena’s deranged half sister. Or former deranged half sister. She was recently reformed. After returning from heaven and finding out they were sisters their feud ended. They were much closer now than ever. Elena loved her sister and pretty much got  upset when anyone would say negative things about her. Elena didn’t defend Katherine’s past actions when they both tried to kill each other. But she stood by her sister no matter what. The good and the bad. And in return Katherine did the same. Her friends had to get used to the new bond between the two. Well here she was seven and a half months pregnant. With a nephliim baby and hiding at her sister’s house to protect it from the Angels. She wasn’t going to give her child up. And if that child had to be she’d be raised by an angel, a vampire and it’s father. Matt sometimes visited. “You know i don’t think I should feel like the baby is gonna come any day now. It’s two and a half months early for that. Why do feel this way?” Elena complained. Elena didn’t realized she was predicting her own premature labor. Which would happen at that very house. Because just as she said that something felt like a contraction. “Okay so why did I feel that?” she shook her head. “Kat I think this is bad. very bad.”
