A BIT OF AN AREA UNKNOWN UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO ARE ASKING/WONDERING ABOUT THINGS!!:

area unknown is currently undergoing A LOT of stuff behind the scenes. me as well as a lot of the members have been discussing ways to freshen up the server for both us and the viewers. a lot of mods have been thrown around (like proximity chat that has already been added) and there will likely be some light mods getting added to spice things up. it will not effect gameplay too much just add more features for us to explore.

as for the members there has been some changes. i will not be releasing a full members list as of yet. all you need to know for now is that there’s a hand full of members that were not active have been removed from the roster and some other members have decided to step back and work on their own stuff for the time being. there are creators in talks of joining at the moment so we will have a group of people that get along but also will play more than once on the server!

as for the lore; there will be the biggest change here. all lore that has been done so far will not be changed at all, it will stay in tact and canon. but we will be working on having an overall story so that everyone has their own roles rather than small groups doing lore. it’ll make us easier for you guys to follow what’s going on rather than jumping from POV to POV!

the server will be fulling getting these new updates some point in the summer (we have to decide on a set date)! a few members have still been playing actively on the server, but it’ll come back in full swing soon!!
