"Me?" The boy pointed to his own nose, head tilted and blue eyes bright with curiosity. He couldn't imagine what on earth the man wanted to talk with him about. To thank him for giving him his book? Why not just say that here?
Despite his confusion, he returned the faint smile with one of his own, oblivious of the strain. That wide, easy grin he normally offered to strangers on the first meeting. It was that almost disarming boyish carelessness that tended to endear himself strangers at first meeting. Though in this case, probably just made him appear even younger to the elite designers of the building. "Same. Nice to meet you- uh..." His smile dropped and he skipped forward to catch up. "Coming!"
This place was a maze. Sora had no problem keeping up with the taller man even with their obvious height difference. Even with his spiked hair, he barely came up to Saix's shoulder, but the jounce in his step more than made up for leg length discrepancies. Instead he amused himself with peering through the windows and open doors as they passed. Not obvious gawking and ooing and awing, but with the mild curiosity of passing through a new district. He had a natural inclination to pause to read the signs, check the bustling activities of the workers, and decipher the people and items that passed.
"So you guys design fashion here?" He spoke up suddenly without prompting. And not out of real confusion, more as confirming what he had already figured out. "That's pretty cool. Never thought I'd get to see one of these places on my trip."
