doing some @ramlightly fanart :) my boys have a lot of similar traits as a pairing so i've wanted to do a little mixup for a while! Although honestly Darius and Basil would probably get on each others nerves if they weren't careful. Darius doesn't have a lot of patience for god Idk whether nephilim are a thing in this world but gus really seems like he would be a nephilim. Half angel half human, but arguably a worse person than any of the existing demon cast LMAO Other than that I think the backstory is probably similar to Catching Wings. Darius lost his arm in a fire as a teenager again, but this time it was because he and Hawthorne went into a hell portal looking for the philosopher's stone or something silly like that. Hubris is a universal constant for these guys. Anyway this is the first of a couple of pages of little sketches and a few illustrations that i'm rly excited to work on over the next week or two :) [see uncropped at my other socials! bsky and twitter :) ]
Thistle is my favorite but @ramlightly 's ginger is underappreciated imo so everyone gets a turn with her :) except darius who mostly thinks she is nice enough and sets a very good tea
