Invaders - Floating Around In The Sun 1970-1974
REISSUE The Invaders, consisting of Delroy “Bongo Pat” Forde and Lloyd “Paddy” Campbell, is a little known duo that began their recording career in the second half of the 1960s for Siggy Jackson's Blue Beat imprint and Coxsone Dodd’s Studio One label. In the 1970s, they recorded tracks for producers like Alvin "GG" Ranglin, Sir Collins, Augustus Pablo, Dennis "Jah D" Fearon and Prince Jazzbo. Floating Around In The Sun 1970-1974 is a 13-track LP that includes 11 recordings from the early 1970s, along with 2 new tracks by Delroy “Bongo Pat” Forde, recorded in 2024 over classic riddims.
