Chapter one of my fic for the Good Aumens event is up now! Come for the tortured space metaphors, stay for the hurt/comfort!

Somewhere in space the moon fell, and the astronauts fell, and Aziraphale fell too; felt himself spinning out of control, plummeting, and he had to pull himself out of this hopeless spiral before he was dashed to pieces against Crowley’s rocks.

It’s the late 1960s. Aziraphale is a doctor, Crowley is his next door neighbour, and men are about to walk on the moon.

Chapter 1 of my submission for the Good AUmens event is up! Once upon a time, a childless couple adopted a little snake. When the snake was of age, he asked for the prince's hand in marriage. The king scoffed at such an idea and set three tasks before the snake. The snake, of course, performed all three miracles and went to the palace for his prize. When things take an unexpected turn, the prince must go on a journey of his own to find his true love and secure their happily ever after.

An Au fic for the Aumens Event!

Crowley is a disgraced former wizard, cast out of the order And scraping a living in the employment of King Luc and Lord Beelzebub.

Now he's been assigned to find one of Luc's bastard children - and prevent the wizard Aziraphale from finding the child.

It's a story about living with depression and anxiety as well as wizards and magic (and forbidden romance) as Crowley is pretty ill and we're in his head, so please use caution when reading.

Crowley’s hands trembled as he wrote his reply. He nearly crossed out the last two lines, but left it as it was. His brain felt tired from searching for words much longer and more posh than he usually used and from constructing lovely, flowing sentences. Maybe he was overdoing it. Perhaps he should start over…

He quickly folded the letter and stuffed it into an envelope. Best to do it before he lost his nerve. Just send it. Hope it was enough.

He practically floated through work after he sent the letter off. Someone had responded to him. Someone who seemed as lonely as he was, who was modest and kind and who wanted to know him. This could become something. Maybe this wasn’t such a foolish idea after all…
