As a lot of you may be aware by now, Australia did not secure a team spot for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. It is impossible to put into words the devastation that myself and my team are feeling. We went out and had a clean run. We hit 18 out of the 20 routines that we put up, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. We always knew it was going to be really tough to qualify, but no amount of knowing could prepare us for the aftermath of not making it. I am so proud of my team, and how far we have all come/grown since World Championships last year. I know in my heart that as a team we fought as hard as we could, we gave it everything. As disappointed as I am in the end result I am in no way disappointed in us, or the way we prepared and performed. I am actually busting with pride for my team and how resilient everyone have been in the lead up to this event. All in all, this month long campaign has been a very bittersweet experience. A once in a lifetime opportunity, shared with some truly inspiring and incredible people. 🇦🇺💪🏼💜 #RoadtoRio #Rio2016 #OneTeam #United #Gymnastics #AusGym #TeamLove #Family #Forever (at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
