ROYAL OAK RELEASES NEW SINGLE

“All the things you said that you had ever wanted, would you throw it all away?”

It’s the driving question behind Port Coquitlam group Royal Oak’s latest single. The pop rock crossover pairs whirring synth to pared-down bassline; gang vocals supply a homey energy to Austin Ledyard’s resolute lead. While the song itself is midtempo, the band's innate optimism bleeds into every hook. “All the Things You Said (That You Had Ever Wanted)” is an earnest listen, eyes shut, rooted in the present and all its uncertainties.

ROYAL OAK RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM

Royal Oak consists of Austin Ledyard (lead vocals, guitar), James Armstrong (guitar), Brayson Wong (bass), and Myles Philpott (drums). The band was previously known as The Reprise, until late 2014.
