Today was my first surf lesson.
I woke up 6am so i could go from Cronulla to Dee Why where was my surf lesson. I'm here in Australia about 5 months and I can say it was one of the most amazing things i did, and i saw. The ocean was quite cold but the wetsuits made the weather feel good. The teacher was kind and laughed with us everytime someone got hit by a wave. He also said: what you afraid of, it's just water. Besides the fun, was the greatest feeling to stand in a board. I could notice how the ocean can be soft and hard! Laying on the board made me feel like i was in my blog, that's why i'm writing this here. I know there is a lot of people that can surf here and i'm grateful that i made this tumblr. In this time with a surf blog, i could notice how surf is not only a sport but a life style and that's what i want for my life! Wake up every morning and be able to see the ocean, breath the salty hair and sleep listening to the waves. This was my first lesson and i'm so in love with this 'surf feeling'. After the surfing i felt pure and serene for enjoying so much a simple and beautiful thing like the waves, the ocean and the sun. Had to get out of the ocean even beging for only one last wave to ride.
