Niki Lauda becomes a home race winner: 19th August 1984 🇦🇹🏆
Picking a niki race at random I've definitely chose a good one!
Niki's first and only home win in 1984, after qualifying 4th he grabbed the lead from piquet with a damaged car managing to fool the driver into thinking there was nothing wrong.
At the end of the race Niki was both a home race hero AND the championship leader 🏆
