On a scale, which pint sized hashira require the most supervision to the least?

( most supervision to least supervision in order would be:

muichiro (he’s a baby)

kyojuro (he always goes missing)

shinobu (she will try to eat poisonous berries for the sake of science)

mitsuri (she’s an angel but if she sees a cute animal she’s going after it)

obanai (he’s a walking jumpscare. you blink and suddenly he’s there. it’s better to just keep your eyes on him)

tengen (there have been several instances he’ll go missing because kyojuro went missing)

sanemi (he usually supervises but theres been plenty of times he’ll go missing and then they find him stuck somewhere. nobody knows why)

giyuu (he tends to communicate whenever he goes anywhere)

gyomei (he’s the eldest and most responsible, regressed or not)

Hii!! Absolutely love all the adorable babies, they make me so happy!

I was wondering, if/when they grow up do they still keep some traits/habits from when they were little? Like, is Giyuu more open and does Muichiro like to be around Gyomei, etc.

( i like to think they do! especially for those who tend to struggle being more vulnerable and open

i can envision giyuu being a bit more social, for instance. sanemi adopts the habit of being more physically affectionate, like ruffling hair or grabbing someone’s shoulder. obanai probably seeks people out more in his own shy little way. things like that!

they all definitely baby muichiro by accident— especially gyomei. consequences of being stuck as a baby for a few months! )

I really just wanna give Gyomei a hug and tell him he’s doing a good job. I think he needs to hear that.

I dunno if you have this all like figured out but do you think when they turn back to normal, it would be hard to adjust back to being an adult? Like being a child for however long and them having to go right back into being in an adult mindset after regressing ever once in a while?

If this were to happen who do you think would have the most trouble readjusting?

( i may just be biased, but i think based on how ive written their kid versions in the au vs how they are as adults in canon, the people who would probably struggle most to adjust would be Muichiro (since he was a little baby for a few months) and Obanai and Sanemi, since their regressed versions are so different from how they act as adults

Obanai and Sanemi would struggle the most of the group, but everyone’s having a bit of trouble adjusting! those two probably just need extra guidance and patience, and their loved ones have plenty of that! )

do they ever play as if they were fighting w objects that resemble their weapons,naming their techniques,breathing styles and everything? (i thought abt lil mitsuri w two shoelaces tied together pretending its her weapon and playing w it n giggled)

( this is absolutely canon. id have to think of some concepts but this absolutely happens! i definitely see little Sanemi and Tengen especially doing this-- they just pick up a stick and pretend they're katanas or something )

are there any side effects for the poison in shinobus body?(like the vomiting(? i think) also,was it/is it noticeable? how did the others react?

( I don’t think there would be any poison in her body, similar to how everyone’s missing their scars and etc! tbd

I don't know if this was asked or not but what mitsuri and Rangoku parents think of there kids like this.

( It’s difficult for Shinjuro. He distances more and has a habit of staring at Kyojuro in shame and horror. With the help of Senjuro, the two later reconnect, and Shinjuro becomes more involved in helping the children. Kyojuro always wonders if it’s just a dream.

As for Mitsuri’s parents, they don’t completely buy the situation. Mitsuri fabricated the story a bit to make it look moreso like she’s just overcome with some sickness versus being de-aged. Her father will write her letters and send gifts, and her mother always asks about her condition. They do plan to visit, but Mitsuri always has an excuse for them not to come over— she’s embarrassed about the whole thing and doesn’t want them to worry! )
