Kaji wasn't much for celebrating the birthdays of others. It just wasn't in his nature to pay attention to dates in the first place so it was hard to keep up with. And yet Sakura must have made an impression, much like his closest friends. He made an excuse for the two to separate on patrol together before pausing and holding out the gold and red envelope for Sakura to take. "Happy birthday, or whatever." (kaji bringing sakura birthday gifts in kaji style )

Sakura is on another patrol with Kaji. It seems like Kaji is being his usual self so he doesn't have to think about this peculiar day. He just want to get this over with. Little does he know, Sakura got a suprising gift from Kaji Ren when he hold out a envelope in gold and red. Making him blink if not once but twice.

Then Kaji said it.

A happy birthday to him.

S-say what?

What quickly follows is a hue of crimson painted his cheeks making him gasp. Quickly, Sakura takes it but tries to play dumb, "H-happy..Birthday?! Wh-who told you that it was my birthday??" It's too late, Sakura. Everybody knows. He shut his eyes tightly before looking to the side, holding the envelope in his hand.

"Hrm...mmmm..." Sakura struggles but he says it anyway, "T-thank you, Kaji...I...thank you for this." He said it with a head nod. "It means a lot." When Kaji's birthday comes, Sakura will return the favor.

❝ The hell you mean kiss Kaji? ❞ This is outrageous. Ridiculous. Just all around crazy to command this. Why should he go lip-locking with the one guy who always looks like he has a problem. His face was beet red & fists curled at his sides. But... against his own will, his legs start moving. Carrying him all the way to the second year's classrooms where he went peeking into the rooms until heterochromia gaze fell upon a familiar bowlcut. Too busy sucking on his lollipop & listening to his music to notice the angered teen coming up behind him.

At this point, Sakura was muttering curses under his breath & looking like he was about fistfight the second year captain rather than what was actually about to happen.

Before Kusumi or any of @autisticcrashout's peers could get up & intervene when Sakura drew closer, the bichrome teen was faster. Walking in front of where Kaji was sat to garner attention, Sakura's hand reached out to snatch the lollipop preoccupying the older's lips. When his brows furrowed together in rising confusion that's when the first year leaned in and smushed his lips against the other's. The kiss certainly wasn't soft or romantic by any means, just a brief smack of his lips against Kaji's. Once the younger pulled away and straightened back up, he could feel the many pairs of eyes on him & gasps that followed. The heat radiating off his face was hardly bearable as he wiped his lips across the back of his hand furiously. This sucks... fuck this game.

"Yeah....I keep it on hand just in case." Sakura takes out a packet of tissues and hands it over to Kaji. After the fight with Noroshi, it takes time for everyone's injuries to recover. They just need to take it easy but of course, trouble always find the pair.

"You know...." Sakura begins, "You can take a break. I mean...your vice captains can handle the patrols...while you recovered." He said it.
