the spine was watching pinocchio one night and looked up at the wishing star like “damn.......”. he didnt think that much would happen when he said “i wish i could be a reaaaaaaal boy, like pinocchio” (he even embarrassed himself saying that like wow, am i really that much of a nerd) and so later learns the lesson of carefully phrasing your wishes 

rabbit gives the spine a piggy back ride for most of the time that the spine is smoll bc the spine is irritated that hes not tall 

when the spine finally turns back into a robot he ruins the small kid clothes he was wearing (part of it was an old sweater he made for 6 back when 6 was a kid. the spine doesnt know if he should feel bad or not about it bc he doesnt like the sweaters design)

definitely!! & i know i’m preaching to the choir here but kids’ cartoons have so much more responsibility re: this stuff, a lot of newer cartoons have so much great stuff in them & are teaching a lot of good thngs! i hope that soon creators will pick up on this & stop...............
