I used my damsel-in-distress card

Driving home I realized the front headlight was out and so today I drove down to our neighborhood Auto Zone and picked up a new one. After paying I stared at both my brace wrapped wrists and peeked up at the big guy behind the register asking if would be a hassle to get him to install it for me.

I know the look, the annoyed cant-you-do-it-yourself-?-look but held up my hands giving him my most pathetic smile. He looked at both braces and sighed yelling to his coworker that he was going outside.

It took him five minutes. Five minutes I would have struggled and been in pain and dragged out into and hour or two depending on if my hands decided to cramp up or not.

Which his did and I advised him to pull his thumb back a bit. He was surprised to find it relieved the pain. I have bi-lateral carpal tunnel and de quarveins in bot wrists. I thanked him so much and he stood there staring at me for a minute and said it wasn't a problem.

I am smol and in distress. Thank you big guy at auto zone
