My birthday card (so far)
So on Saturday, Jamie (Addison - I did see Jamie Cruttenden around Wembley but did not speak to him as he was getting his dinner), Jaydon, Sheri and Nicole signed my birthday card. I was hoping to catch Evan at stage door but he didn't do stage door. I also hope I can get Asher to sign it as well.

I fucking LOVE working at a comic book store
Truth be told, it's pretty awesome. It's not because I'm a girl working at a comic book store, but because I happen to be equally passionate about a lot of stuff that other people are into. But as collecting comics is a habit for those that have money, I also sometimes happen to get stuff for free as a result of my employment and interests.
Take today for example: I've recently fell in love with trading cards. Because I've actually started TRADING them, which is one of the best feelings ever. Then they came out with Game of Thrones trading cards. (Which I still think is capitalistic stupidity but if money made from this merchandise goes to the new season's budget, then I happily support.) The worst mistake is opening a pack because you wanna see what they look like. Either you never open a pack and tell people to open them elsewhere if they purchase, or open that pack and know that you're gonna start buying them. Also, if you're collecting, you then start asking people to open their packs so you can see what they got and see if you wanna trade with them.
So back to today, this dude comes in and buys one pack. I ask him to humor me and open them there to see if he got the autographed card. Nothing in the first pack. He opens another, same. Another, same. This went on for ten packs until he opened the one with the autograph.
What does he do with the rest of the packs? Says, "Those are for you," and then walks away. I stood there with this stupid goofy smile on my face. Then let out a triumphant yell of happiness. Ridiculous I know, but what is life for if not for wonderful moments like that?!?!
