I would like to hold a memorial for Avakkins. You may know him as Avakkins-Alter, Avakkins-Again, Avak-5, and others i physically can't remember due to the insidious crime that is Tumblr consistently nuking his account to the point of spawn killing.
He was a great man. He went out of his way to share with us art from various sources, consistently reblogged art from various artists, from popular to budding, even went as far as tagging their names to make it easier on us to find them, reminded us how much he loved certain pink haired females, and was an all-around amazing guy.
To lose him is almost akin to me losing my will to live (on tumblr at least). I have grown dependant on his activities to keep my own blog alive. You truly never realize what you have until it's gone...
13 years I've been on this site (or was it 16?...ahh whatever.) and never have i had such terrible moderation paralyze me at my core as it has now.
Avakkins. Wherever you are man. I wish you the best. Wish i got to know you better.
