Okay, so Air, Earth, and Fire all have a legend of a giant animal as their first benders, and Water is all "we have the entire freaking moon!" 

But like what if it was something completely different...

Air bender: Our first bender was a giant furry flying bison who taught us.

Earth bender: Our first bender was a giant furry badger mole digging in the ground.

Fire bender: Ours was a giant fire breathing dragon.

Water bender (probably also an ancient and direct ancestor of Sokka), who a month ago got his ass handed to him by a 6 inch octopus: *desperately looking around* The moon! Yup, most definitely. The moon. We just watched it push and pull the tides. For sure, it was the moon.

The avatar saga continues. I can go into the Edit appearance on the Tumblr app on my phone, and it gives me options to edit and view the avatar. When I click on view, it shows up as the Yngling emblem, sable a wolf’s-head gules erased, the one I uploaded from my desktop. But in every other context the app (but not the browser) still shows the geometric default avatar. There is presumably some cache somewhere that is not being updated, because why would anyone want to update the appearance of their own blog in their own app view?
