1. I've broken my arm 3 different times in about the span of pre-k through 2nd grade. Same arm - my right arm - once in the elbow and twice in the same place of my radius. I just remember after I got my cast off the 3rd time, my orthopedist told me he never wanted to see me again.
2. Because of these broken arm incidents being so close to each other, I had to quit a lot of sports I was participating in as a kid at the time. Swimming lessons, gymnastics, and karate, since those are all obviously hindered by a big cast on your dominant arm. My parents were able to get permission from the YMCA I played at to let me keep playing tee-ball though. Which is the reason why I'm so not athletic and the only sport I played semi-competitively was softball up until high school.
3. I was kind of tall for my age in elementary school and stopped growing in middle school, so now I'm petite as an adult
4. I've been to Las Vegas more times than I remember. My parents would take my grandparents a lot, so I went with them all, the first time being when I was still a baby. It's still a pretty fun place for kids, there's so much to see. I never got tired of it at least. We haven't been since my grandparents passed away. Now that I'm 21, I'd love to go back and gamble.
5. Despite being of Mexican descent, having taken several years of Spanish classes in school, and having family who speaks it, I still cannot speak Spanish. It's a mystery... a sad mystery
