It had been a busy, busy day. Mostly if felt as if Jude had been running circles around the island, trying to catch up with everyone that she possibly could. For the most part, she felt ready to fully move back into the house and unpack her things in her office, but there was one more to seek out. She had intentionally left him for last, for a couple of reasons. For one, she needed the time to look over his claim rules and ensure none would be broken. But mostly, she was determined to spend the evening with him - assuming he had no other plans, of course.
The djinn waited until she was certain that Avery was very alone in his Mistress’ suite before knocking, already grinning at what was certain to be a look of shock on the vampire’s face. Only once the door had been pulled open did she speak - “Come now, my darling boy, you don’t think I could possibly let an ocean allow me to miss your birthday?”
