Bed Situations [Accepting!]

It had made you really uncomfortable to have that much showing on a woman, but with enough alcohol... well you could get used to anything.

You know, there’s a reason why I work alone. There’s a reason why I have no ties to anyone. Having you surrender when I have a dog’s life under fire is just- I have no words.

I just need you to stay here for three days and I’ll let you both go. Hell, I’ll give you all of your shit back. Do me a favor though? Don’t try to escape. I don’t want to kill the dog. I will if you give me a reason though.

Carlos didn’t spend a lot of time in the training room. Being one of the top engineers (or mechanic as some of the pilots affectionately dubbed him) or the jaeger program didn’t leave him with much free time. He was constantly overseeing maintenance on the massive machines, but there was the occasional quiet moments.

Usually during restless nights when his insomnia was acting up, but hey, whenever he had the time, right?

He toed his shoes off at the edge of the mat, and starts practicing. It was easy to focus on what his sister taught him, flowing from position to position, muscles burning as he spun the staff deftly. It took all his focus, all his concentration in a way few things did. He was so focused, he wasn’t even aware of anyone else until he glanced up.

It threw him, and the heavy wood nearly slid from his fingers. “Shit,” he hissed, only just catching it. He smiled sheepishly. “Um, hi,” he greeted awkwardly. That was the partnerless pilot, right?
