Bluebell - Grateful
It had been a long and arduous journey to finally see the Time Reaper defeated, but that it had finally been achieved brought peace; perhaps one of many times it might be achieved. In the aftermath, Sypha knew that they would have to return from this strange place, wistful that it would have to be moved on from at all. That only they and the strangers they encountered might even remember, might even meet them again, was both strange and enchanting to consider. Just as Sypha was preparing to step through the portal that would take them home, a polite prodding on their shoulder brought their attention, and indulgent smile on Sypha’s features as the strange man presented a bluebell that seemed like such a shock against his black and white garb.
Gratitude. Sypha knew well enough what it meant.
“Maybe I should be the one thanking you,” they mused while receiving the blossom gratefully. “The new trial I have is going to be difficult, but… I think I’ll be able to do it. Thank you, really. I pray that things resolve in your world.”
