Today's Adventures
When I woke up, the water still wasn't working so I MacGyver'd together some homemade dry shampoo from baking soda and pure cocoa powder. Luckily it worked! Milkmaid braided my hair like a bamf and got a ton of compliments on my hair today at work!! Definitely made up for the sad bowl of bottled water face washing I had to settle for this morning. It didn't make up for everything else at work today... Just wow. We are having visiting students from Taiwan come to our school tomorrow and three teachers asked me last minute to proofread their student's presentations. I lost all my prep time which meant I ended up having a 12 hour work day with only 15 minutes stolen for lunch. Ahhh the joys... But it was worth it because now my day tomorrow will be filled with regular stress not break down and cry stress, which is great because no one deserves break down and cry stress on certain days! Ending my day with a shower (heavenly!), some 30for30crafting, Leverage and then proof-reading something as a favour for a former co-worker. Ahhhh, going to bed is going to be so great. Work hard, play hard. Today was a GOOD day.
