21 for the sidestep ask game if you’re up for it please!

21. How close have they come to being discovered in their Sidestep days? He feels like there was one time he actually could've been close, but he didn't stick around long enough to check. Later on, when he had access to slightly better gear, he got curious and decided to use some old codes he remembered from the Farm. He wanted to quietly hack into the network, just to see if they were still looking for him. Halfway through, something started tracking him. He panicked, cut himself off from the network, threw all the gear into the ocean, and changed locations. He didn't have the guts to find out what was actually tracking him, but he never tried again. And for the next few months, he kept moving around constantly, which drove Ortega absolutely crazy.
