I've been tagged by the most wonderful Kate and have been asked to answer a few questions! Here goes nothing;

1: Have you ever gotten in a new fandom (or discovered a new interest in general) thanks to Tumblr? If so, what?
Actually, yes I have. My entire Supernatural obsession started because of Tumblr. And so did that entire Tom Hiddleston spree. Look how many holes I've dug myself into hahahah. kevin's dead dont touch me
2: What inspired you to join Tumblr in the first place?
It all started a few months after I began watching Doctor Who. At that point, I was nearly done with Rose's era, and really wanted to know what the Tumblr Hype was all about. So, I joined. I really didn't know how Tumblr worked, so I kept it aside for a few months. Only in late July did I really begin to blog and post and meet new people. Now I'm on 24/7 god help me.
3: Who is the one person you personally regard as a hero, whether now or as a child, and why?
Hmm... I have so many heroes. But the first one that pops into my head is Sherlock. He 'died' for his friends and stayed that way for three years. I know he's fictional, but you say that to my face and I think I'll break into uncontrollable sobs. It seems all too real.
4: What are your favourite music, film and novel genres?
Music: I adore sorta slow, classical songs. With lyrics. Not fast paced things, just slow, gentle, calm music. It appeals to my senses (I cannot stand rap or scream-y music).
Film: This always changes. One moment I'm in love with Pride and Prejudice, the other I'm watching Iron Man. Always differs.
Novels: Novels are all over the place. I'm in the mood for a dystopian fantasy. I'm in the mood for a love story. I'm in the mood for historical fiction. It jumps around. I never have one.
5: Any phobias, and stories as to why these are phobias?
I'm like that really weird kid that isn't afraid of much. I've held a beetle the size of my palm, I've flown extremely far distances, I've swam with sharks. I think. If I had to pick one, it would be rumours about me being spread around. It's still happening again, and it is really stressing. No one could ever keep their mouths shut and it irks me to no end. Just because I am hanging out with someone doesn't mean I'm dating, and just because I get to school looking absolutely terrible doesn't mean that I'm doing illegal things. At least once a day, other's come up to me saying "How are you dating him? Where do you buy your weed? Why does your brother have ADD and you don't? I heard you failed Englis-" Stop.
6: Generally, how chatty are you with your followers and/or people you follow?
I try to be as interactive as possible. I love all of my followers with all my heart, really. They mean the world. You guys are my pride and joy, really. Someone tells me I'll never get and friends because I like strange topics? Throw the 249 follower trick on them and they'll shut up. It's glorious.
As for the people I follow, there are a few I'm always talking to. For example, Jules. She and I have become great friends over the course of-- what? It's been like two months. two. oh my god its been two months jules pound the alarm i am just oh my god.
7: Happen to enjoy video games? If so, favourite ones?
Video games are great! When I was a toddler, my dad would always hook up the Nintendo and let us play Duck Hunt, Tetris, and Super Mario Brothers. Then I grew out of it, and he bought us a PS2. So many memories on that thing. The Spyro series was and always has been my favourite. And now, we have the PS3 and the computers, so it's expanded.
8: Favourite book to read when you were a child?
As a child, I reread and reread the Little Women series so many times I've lost count. That and 'The Lion and The Mouse.'
9: Current favourite character, from anything, and why?
This question is torture. So many favourites. Loong list of them spinning around in my brain right now. I think Mary Morstan is my favourite. I don't know, she's just such an amazing character. I mean all the Mary's, not just Amanda's, although I can tell Mrs. Abbington's Mary will be my favourite.
10: What is one thing you admire/find most beautiful in people?
The way some people get lost in the moment as they ramble on about the things they love. It's entrancing, amazing. They love that one topic with such a passion, you can see it in their eyes. It's wonderful.
11: What piece of history do you find most fascinating?
The infamous sinking of the Titanic. I spent two, nearly three years studying nothing but it, and it fascinated me so. Of course, the death toll was depressing, but just the ship itself. How it split, how the engines shut off, how the captain went down with his ship. How the Carpathia came to the rescue, how the news spread, how people reacted.
