The main cast of Dark Nebula with semi-final designs! It was a long and tedious process, but I finally felt comfortable enough with the designs of each member of the main group to complete the exercise of creating all the characters online and presenting them here.
But let's talk briefly about each one; they'll also have their own posts for more in-depth information.
"Slayder" from Planet ExTrel-9
"Slayder" isn't his real name, but since he holds an important political position on his planet, he's allowed to use an alias. He's the second most experienced and veteran member of the group, second only to Juventas. A hardened veteran who respects the chain of command, but also his principles.
Hanka, from Planet Xuller
The Fulgur of Xuller aren't technically allies of the OPSU, not even close, but Hanka managed to rise through the ranks by deserting his planet. She's cheerful and bubbly, but she's still a Fulgur, an exceptional fighter, and unafraid to shed blood if that's what the higher-ups want. She won't allow herself to be expendable again.
Sherry, from the planet Wares
Former expedition leader on her home planet, Sherry is tough as nails, quick-witted, and harbors a deep hatred for the OPSU's greatest enemy, almost as much as for the OPSU itself. She's someone who does her job well, even if she has a terrifying demeanor, and she returns with the entire group she started with.
Axe Clobb, from the planet Florexxia
Axe was one of the first Florexcian ambassadors the OPSU made contact with before the planet's destruction, so he was safe when it all happened. Axe is a genius in many ways, but empathy definitely isn't one of them, yet it's indispensable for the survival of many.
Conrad Clobb, from the planet Florexxia
Axe's nephew, the protagonist of the story, and the only Florexxian survivor rescued by the OPSU. Severely depressed by everything, he understandably only participates in/helps Axe initially, hoping to find other Florexcians. But as time passes, helping people becomes therapeutic and necessary for him.
"Artemis" Diana Boston, from the planet Earth (from @underworldreaderinserts)
Artemis is the group's newest addition, but no less useful for it. She has extensive military knowledge, is skilled in the use of firearms and bladed weapons, and possesses a rather acerbic sense of humor that helps ease tensions when necessary. Curry is the "cat" she rescued and adores, but no one really knows what he is.
Zef, from the planet Idell
Zef was a teenager when he joined the OPSU in an attempt to escape the boring routine of his home planet, but now he's become somewhat of an adrenaline junkie, constantly looking for interesting or "fun" things to do on missions, sometimes forgetting that he's supposed to be helping (Sherry ends up putting him in his place).
Juventas, from the planet Hydrofallos (from @ultravioletqueen)
Juventas is unusual, even for her species. She can constantly rejuvenate after "dying," which causes her to usually appear as a child. Don't be fooled, though; she's cold and calculating, and has surely outlived all your ancestors combined.

¡el cast principal de Dark Nebula con diseños semi-finales! fue un proceso largo y tedioso, pero finalmente me senti comoda con los diseños de cada uno de los integrantes del grupo protagonista como para hacer el ejercicio de todos los personajes en linea para presentarlos aqui.
Pero hablemos brevemente de cada uno, igualmente tendran su propio post para profundizar.
"Slayder" del Planeta ExTrel-9
"Slayder" no es su verdadero nombre, pero como tiene una posición politica importante en su planeta, le permiten ir por un alias. Es el segundo miembro mas experimentado y veterano del grupo, segundo a Juventas. Un veterano curtido que respeta la cadena de mano, pero tambien sus principios.
Hanka, del planeta Xuller
Los Fulgur de Xuller técnicamente no son aliados de la OPSU, ni cerca, pero Hanka logro meterse en los rangos por haber desertado del planeta. Es alguien alegre y risueña, pero sigue siendo una Fulgur, una peleadora excepcional, y sin miedo de derramar sangre si eso es lo que los altos mandos quieren. No se permitirá ser prescindible otra vez.
Sherry, del planeta Wares
Ex-Lider de expedicion en su planeta natal, Sherry es dura como uñas, rápida para pensar y tiene un odio enorme por el mayor enemigo de la OPSU, casi tanto como a la propia OPSU. Es alguien que hace su trabajo bien, incluso si tiene una actitud aterradora, y que vuelve con todo el grupo con el que partió.
Axe Clobb, del planeta Florexxia
Axe fue uno de los primeros embajadores Florexcianos de la OPSU con los que tuvieron contacto antes de la destrucción del planeta, por lo que estuvo a salvo cuando todo ocurrió. Axe es un genio, en muchos aspectos, pero definitivamente la empatía no es uno de ellos, pero es indispensable para la supervivencia de muchos.
Conrad Clobb, del planeta Florexxia
El sobrino de Axe, Protagonista de la historia, y el único sobreviviente de Florexxia salvado por la OPSU. severamente deprimido por todo, comprensivamente, solo llega a participar/ayudar a Axe en un inicio con la esperanza de encontrar otros Florexcianos, pero mientras pasa el tiempo, ayudar a la gente se vuelve algo terapéutico y necesario para él.
"Artemisa" Diana Boston, del planeta Tierra (de @underworldreaderinserts)
Artemisa es la adquisicion mas reciente al grupo, pero no por eso menos util, tiene un alto conocimiento militar, manejo de armas de fuego y armas blancas, al igual que un humor bastante acido que ayuda a aligerar tenciones cuando es necesario. Curry es el "gato" que ella rescato y adora, pero la verdad nadie sabe lo que es.
Zef, del planeta Idell
Zef era un adolescente cuando se unió a la OPSU en un intento por salir de la aburrida rutina dada en su planeta natal, pero ahora se ha vuelto algo adicto a la adrenalina, constantemente buscando cosas interesantes o "divertidas" que hacer en las misiones, que a veces se olvida que tiene que ayudar (Sherry termina poniéndolo en su lugar).
Juventas, del planeta Hydrofallos (de @ultravioletqueen )
Juventas es inusual, incluso para su especie. Puede rejuvenecer constantemente despues de "morir" lo que le causa a ser vista normalmente en forma de niña. No te dejes engañar, es alguien fria y calculadora, que de seguro a vivido mas que todos tus ancestros juntos.
I'm reviving this almost forgotten Dark Nebula project of mine! What better way to do so than to show the final design of its protagonist and explain a bit about the recurring races that will appear in the story? Starting with the Florexxians.
🌱 ORIGIN: The Florexcians come from the planet Florexxia, which was recently destroyed in an attack by the terrorist group "The Hand of Chaos." The few survivors are either with the OPSU (Conrad and Axe) or scattered throughout the galaxy.
🌱 PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: At first glance, the Florexcians have a fairly humanoid psyche; however, they are composed of an organic mixture of tissue and plants. They are tall and lanky and defend themselves against different types of plants and vegetation. In Conrad's case, he is a Floral Florexcian (that is, a flower or flowering plant).
🌱NEEDS: Florexcians only need water and sunlight to survive. They don't have a stomach as such, nor do they need solid food (since they have no way to digest it). They don't need as much oxygen as the average human, being able to survive without it for up to one hour.
🌱OTHER: They have no nose or ears, absorbing smells and sounds through their skin and/or mouth. Their skin, being partly composed of plant and tissue, is tough and resistant, almost like wood. Almost all HEALTHY Florexcians have greenish skin (some have gray skin, but only after prolonged periods without proper food).
Conrad is the one whose personality has changed the least, despite his drastic redesign. He remains horribly depressed (understandably) after witnessing the death of his planet and family, but at least the OPSU team tries to support this lost child.
Conrad slowly begins to find purpose in the OPSU, helping people and preventing them from suffering the same fate he endured, and gradually he starts to feel like himself again. Meanwhile, the OPSU tries to find and destroy the Hand of Chaos before they can do something like what they did to Florexxia on another planet.

¡Retomo este proyecto casi olvidado que tengo de Dark Nebula! Que mejor forma de hacerlo que mostrar el diseño final de su protagonista y explicar un poco sobre las razas recurrentes que habrá en la Historia. Empezando con los Florexxianos.
🌱 ORIGEN: los Florexcianos vienen del planeta Florexxia, que en la actualidad fue destruido en un ataque hecho por el grupo terrorista "La Mano del Caos" los pocos sobrevivientes están o con la OPSU (Conrad y Axe) o esparcidos en la galaxia.
🌱FISICO: los Florexcianos a simple vista tienen una psique bastante humanoide, sin embargo, ellos están compuestos por una mezcla orgánica de tejido y plantas. Son largiruchos y defienden de diferentes tipos de plantas y vegetación. En el caso de Conrad, el es un Florexciano Floral (osea, una flor o planta que da flores).
🌱NECESIDADES: los Florexcianos solo necesitan agua y luz solar para sobrevivir, no tienen estómago como tal ni tampoco necesitan alimentos sólidos (ya que no tienen como digerirlos). No necesitan tanto oxigeno como el humano promedio, Pudiendo estar sin oxigeno un total de 1 hora.
🌱OTRO/S: no tienen nariz ni orejas, absorben olores y sonidos mediante la piel y/o la boca. Su piel, al ser en parte un compuesto de planta y tejido, es dura y resistente. Casi como madera. Casi todos los Florexcianos SANOS tienen piel verdosa (algunos tienen piel gris, Pero solo después de estar mucho tiempo sin alimentación adecuada).
Conrad es el que menos ha cambiado en personalidad pese haber cambiado drásticamente en diseño. Sigue estando horriblemente deprimido (con razón) al haber presenciado como su planeta y familia murieron, Pero al menos el equipo de la OPSU trata de ser de apoyo a este niño perdido.
Conrad poco a poco empieza a encontrar un propósito en la OPSU, en ayudar a la gente y no dejar que les pasen cosas malas, como le pasaron a el, y poco a poco vuelve a sentirse el mismo. A su vez que los de la OPSU tratan de encontrar y destruir a la mano del Caos antes de que hagan algo como lo de Florexxia a otro planeta.
