"It's truly unfortunate you smell so distinctly of wolf." Andy husked as she tugged Addie through the door to the small house she'd bought in Shadow Lake, kicking the door closed behind them. But there was a teasing undercurrent to her words, because if that really bothered Andy the pair wouldn't have gotten this far. The vampire, however, needed to feed, and getting around all the red tape in this god-forsaken town was proving more difficult than anticipated. So the fact that Addie was a wolf would be overlooked by Andy. Not without some cajoling, however.
