How do you find so many pretty flowers to photograph?? I absolutely adore your style of photography, I love a flower closeups with bokeh and the bokeh of my SX-70 is just sooo pleasing but I just can't find enough flowers to photograph! Is it just a matter of location or do you have any recs to find more orrrrr??
Hi!! Thank you so, so much! 💗
I live in the Swedish countryside, so during the spring/summer flowers and greenery as a whole are abundant. Here are some places you can check out!
- Country lanes! I usually lurk around with the hope of finding poppies in particular, but also yarrow, cornflower, and cow parsley. Just stay alert in case of sudden or unexpected traffic!
- If you live in a larger town, check out any local parks. The larger, the better (or, well, generally? Some municipalities care more about looks than others and will have flowers, shrubberies, etc planted while others just straight up don't care)
- Look for meadows, fields, or open spaces like that. Cornflower loves fields, and tends to grow alongside wheat. Buttercups and cow parsley grow freely and happily in places like these. Channel your inner deer and frolic!
Best of luck to you, I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help!
