Happy 21st birthday to handsome aye-aye Nirina! 🥂

Nirina’s keepers helped him celebrate his birthday in style with “shots” of syrup, honey, and jam, along with a big cardboard sign with peanut butter lettering for Nirina to scrape off. You may have met this darling male during a Wild Workshop or Behind the Scenes tour—or his daughter Fady, or grandson Binx. Born in Tokyo, Nirina was a little shy when he moved to the DLC back in 2023, but now he’s confident, charismatic, and beloved by guests and staff alike

Top 5 primates ?

As you can see, I am extremely in favor of small, nocturnal creatures with huge eyes, and I've tried to vary the species so this isn't simply a list of nearly identical tarsiers. Fun fact: these species are not particularly related! It's likely close to the ancestral primate form and we should all be aiming for this aesthetic, as a species.
